First visit today. Food was delicious. I had the best chocolate brownie ever for dessert! The mocktails were delicious. I will be back and would recommend.

Everything was 3* ok and Im sure that youd have a good meal herebut we were hoping for a 5* experience and the food just wasnt up to their pricing. 6 for a bowl of soup and 9.95 for what had the appearance of a day old, over cooked, blackened spring roll? Similar pricing to somewhere like Scotts in South Queensferry but nowhere near as good views or atmosphere. On the other hand I did enjoy the steak medallions at 27.95 but, once again, the dish was ok but not spectacular and 1 extra extra for a tomato and a mushroom? The question for the group is always Would we come back? and, unfortunately, the overall experience means that we probably wouldnt.

We had a mediocre experience for the cost of our weekly food shop. This place would be quite good if they stopped trying to be a posh steakhouse and failing, and instead turn themselves into a casual bar and grill. On arrival, the entire restaurant stunk of urinal cakes. Not posh. I actually went into the gents and opened the window to air it out. As we were seated, it was suggested we order starters because the kitchen was overwhelmed, and it might take a while. Not posh. We waited for 45 minutes for said starters, which were mistakenly delivered to the table next to us 5 minutes after they ordered. When ours finally arrived, there was no apology. Everything was stone cold and congealed, but tasted nice. On to steak and chips. Had to pay extra for half a tomato and a mushroom. Had to pay extra for truffle parmesan chips, which tasted the same as the others. The most stingy portion of chips I've ever seen. The only vegetable option was a salad, which we had to pay extra for. The steaks tasted nice. The staff were pleasant. How to make this place great: Get rid of the white linen table cloths and relax the vibe. Stick some nibbles on the table and keep the drinks flowing. Then people won't care if the kitchen is slow. Then, give better value for money. A 25+ steak should come with a tomato, mushroom, and sauce without paying extra. Double the portion of chips - they don't cost you much. And if you charge extra for parmesan truffle chips, they need to be super-indulgant and cheesy, and the smell of truffle should be covering the smell of urinal cakes. But maybe use less than 20 urinal cakes too. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is up a large flight of stairs. No lift.
