Lothian Maternity Support

Joanne was my doula for three weeks. I can't recommend her enough. She is a genuinely caring person, and she went out of her way to help the baby and I to be as supported as possible. I would have her again in a heartbeat. I can't imagine anyone else doing a better job.

Joanne is very intuitive and has a breadth of knowledge & experience. She really helped me with my daughter when I was struggling with keeping up with looking after her & myself. Joanne has a very calming presence and is really easy to talk to. I learned a lot just by watching how she interacts with the baby. Shes also given me great suggestions for how to try to solve anything I was having difficulties with. Cant recommend her enough. More stars please!

Joanne helped us with the birth of our first baby. Her wide breadth of knowledge and nursing background really put us at ease. She is filled with empathy, patience, and gentleness and made us feel safe and prepared. Our birthing experience didnt go as smoothly as we would have liked and Joanne was really responsive and knew when to step in at times when she was most needed. I would 100% recommend Joannes doula and nursing services !

Joanne Sked is amazing- we received support from her for ante-natal, birth and post natal. We are so glad to have her as a doula, she was so helpful, especially since our family is not nearby. She is really knowledgeable and really reassured us during pregnancy and birth. Highly recommend her and Lothian Maternity Support!

Joanne was a calm presence in our house when we needed help! She was very caring to our daughter and helped us get some much needed rest. Definitely recommend her services.
