We saw the soap named 'proper' priced at 6 per piece. The sign on the shelf clearly stated that, and it was the only product with that name in the shop, as we verified with a staff member. Once we got to the till, the same staff member told us the price is actually 6 per 100g. I told her the sign stated otherwise, to which she replied the sign says the price is per 100g. I can admit when I am wrong, so I went to double check the sign, then I showed her it wrote per piece. We got no apology for the misunderstanding on the shop's part, only an excuse that the sign was wrong. Their signs are printed, not handwritten so that leaves little room for error. The employee offered to cut the piece so it woukd be only 100g, then the price would be 6, which was a very poor solution. After I told her they should change the sign, since it's misleading she only looked annoyed at us. The situation was handled very poorly, especially considering 3 other employees were around, just chatting, with us being the only people in store at the moment. Honestly if we got an apology or if they agreed to change the sign it would have been fine. Edit: Thank you for your reply. If we received an explanation like that in store we would not have minded. It is a bit strange that a company who makes 138 million per year finds re printing wrong signs expensive. That would not be needed, I did not write this to get anything for free.

Taylor was fantastic at being able to find me the perfect gift for Mothers day, I was given a tour of each of the sets available best for her and I was able to pick what was right for me. Thank you Taylor for giving great advice, Im sure shell love the gift.

I came in with my husband today to get more moisturizer Kirsty was absolutely brilliant I love her cheery and honest personality and she recommended Enzymion and it is my new favorite!! I asked about a lavendar balm for my wrist and temples for sleeping and she showed me the new massage bar that smelled incredible and works even better than a balm I had from another store!!! When we got to the checkout Christmas Carol served us! And she was also an absolute delight! So cheery it was infectious and told us all about the Lush spa in Edinburgh that we had no idea about! She was so knowledgeable about the treatments told us how much they tailor the experiences to the individual and we were both blown away! From descriptions of the massages tailored to music to the fancy drink served at the end we were hooked and will be going soon! We love this branch of Lush and I deliberately travel to experience the energy they have in the Livingston store. Thank you so much! See you next month!
