Fantastic and helpful stuff on all floors, I stayed their last year for whole 2monthes before going home,

I was in total despair watching my 89 year old mother suffer severe, back and abdominal pain for over 3 weeks. Our local GP's did visit her on two occasions at home and prescribed painkillers which unfortunately did not even touch her pain so I decided to take her to St Johns A & E department. All the staff we encountered there were absolutely amazing, these included: the receptionist, the nurses, the radiologists right through to the doctors and consultant who dealt with her. They demonstrated both kindness and compassion, and actually listened to her as she described her pain. The care she was given that day was amazing ( a ct scan and Xrays) which highlighted two broken bones in her spine. I cannot praise the staff enough for the duty of care they provided. Thank you all.

All the staff here are brilliant. At the A&E reception staff were doing amazingly even in the face of some agitated folks. Kicking myself for not remembering the name of the person who saw me, but she was kind, understanding and explained everything to me very well. Nice to see that even in the busy environment of the emergency department they still take the time to listen and show that they care. Wait times were also some of the shortest I've experienced in an A&E recently. Hats off to them! They're clearly working very hard even in the face of the current NHS issues and it shows.

Was admitted on Saturday evening with severe stomach pains and was given first class thorough treatment throughout,all staff from the moment I arrived were absolutely brilliant,thank you A&E,you guys are miracle workers

The largest employer of labour in Livingston. Health Care Center. It is adjudged to be one of the best hospitals in UK. The hospital is renowned for having qualified personnel and professionals who know the meaning of health and patient care. It is also a teaching hospital. Suffice it to say that you are in safe hands at St. John's Hospital, Livingston.
