        Today the customer service assistant that served me in Scotmid Nigel Rise was rude and disrespectful. I felt it was necessary to call out this type of inappropriate behaviour from the till assistant. However, this does not reflect the general attitude of staff who work at this particular Scotmid store. This is why Ive given it 3 stars.

        Expensive for a local convenience shop, strategically placed in communities rich and poor. Where basic nutritional food fruits and vegetables are often too expensive for those on low budgets. Asian corner shops notorious for high prices are even cheaper for products over priced here. Mainly the daily and weekly essentials. Junk food with high fat and sugar, sweets to mechanically reclaimed meat, the cheapest ingredients, will always be on low price offers here.
