PEN Plumbing & Heating

One of the thermostats we had fitted about 8 months ago was leaking water and another firm put things right, by replacing the stat fitted by PEN as they had used old nuts and not the new ones supplied by Danfoss. They had also fitted it vertically and not horizontally as Danfoss recommend. In addition, we called them out to sort a leaking water tank and they simply bent the ball arm but failed to fit a new washer, which is what was required. They charged us another 20 call out charge. We have never managed to get them to answer any phone calls around this time.

Totally unreliable and poor standard of work . On visit one paying 240 for 4 hrs on site they fitted a concealed cistern but left without testing it ...subsequently following tiling etc we discovered it was faulty and had to remove new tiles and plasterboard to replace faulty part at considerable extra cost . I then waited 10 days on the basis of assurance from them to return to carry out other works postponing joiners and other trades . On the day they should have attended they failed to show and also ignored my numerous calls and texts causing me significant problems with my programme and other trades due to follow them . I have never heard from them since. In short incompetent and unprofessional amateurs to be avoided
