Safety: It's an enclosed site with one entrance in/out for vehicles and two gates looking into the beach for pedestrian access. Any vehicles moving about site seem to stick to site speed limits so the entire area is safe to walk on foot. Walkability: The site itself is on one level and for the most part fits not have any slopes. Making walking easier for elderly or disabled patrons. Local shops are within a 10/15 minute walk from the caravan site, going along the promenade. Again this is all one level, making walking ready. There are walks from the site to the beach, immediately adjacent the site entrance, this also offers walks along the coast heading into the East Nuek o Fife. Noteworthy details: Currently the touring/campsite is closed. (03/03/23). You can't phone and book pitches prior to arriving but I'd advise phoning to check the pitches are open. Restrooms: The male wc/shower block was clean an tidy on my last visit, mid/late 2022. Washbasin, urinals and toilets were clean and functional. There are four showers, two were out of order at time of my visit. However the showers I used were decent and provided for hot weather at a decent pressure. Toilet block required key from reception for which you pay 10 deposit and have returned when handing your key back at the end of your stay.
