My Mother at 89 Year old was to have a new denture made and a few teeth extracted. As she has poor hearing and is registered partially blind, the staff, throughout the practice, gave superb care throughout. They were gentle and kind and extremely patient. I was encouraged to stay with her and it was clear that nothing was too much trouble for all the staff. I cannot but thank them sincerely for their support and care and their kindness towards my Mum.

My mother was warned about this dentist when she moved to the area my brother and his wife and her family have all grown up in lesmahgow and all 55 years old and above. But my mother who is 86 and has dementia didnt listen and it has been one night mare after another. She had two visits in which he took 5 then 4 teeth out in one sitting my mothers face was left black and blue and in pain for weeks. On the second sitting after taking 5 teeth out he then forced her denture in with no care what so ever. My mother takes blood thinning tablets so the blood was poring out her mouth and down her face pushing the teeth out. My mother was getting visibly destessed as bye this time the blood was all over her cloths and hands as she tried to push theyeeth back in. All this time the dentist was pulling her out the chair bye the arm and just saying make another appointment at the desk. At this point I had to step in and say they wont stay in mum with all that blood. So the dentist took the teeth put them in a plastic bag covered with blood escorted my mother out the room and said see yin six months. I have heared roomers that he may have a drink problems personally I feel he may have mental healt issues. But I have never met such a unpleasant uncaring and rude man in my life. This was some 6 weeks ago and my mothers teeth do not fit and never have. Can anyone recommend a dentist in the area that makes dentures please.
