Adventure Shetland delivers! We booked a 3-day Bespoke Tour with Jon, a young man with an old soul who is as comfortable with silence as he is with conversation. This matters because the sweeping landscapes of the natural environment literally take your breath away. Seascapes in nearly every direction, we traveled the islands north to south and everywhere in between. We saw birds galorepuffins, fulmars, petrels, gannets, shags, gulls, and terns; sheep (literally everywhere), and beloved Shetland ponies. We visited crofts, archaeological sites/ruins, and villages. We heard stories of families and folklore. Jon shared his knowledge of Shetlands natural history, wildlife, and Norse influenced culture and in doing so, his love for his home and heritage.

Jon organised a fantastic 3 day itinerary of Shetland for us four. We had the most amazing time, seeing the most wonderful views and landscapes and hearing the most fascinating stories. Jons knowledge of Shetland brought history to life for us and having him as a guide who went above and beyond made it extra special. I would certainly recommend visiting Shetland and most definitely having Jon as your guide.
