Loose Ends

This is exactly the sort of small local craft business we all need to support. I visited Lerwick for the wonderful January 2023 Up Helly Aa festival and really wanted to buy local knits. Thr craftwork is so intricate and skillful, I'm in envious awe of the talent on display. My twin niece & nephew adore their tiny crafted Viking helmet knits and I am thrilled with my own! Such a lovely place to visit with expertise and enthusiasm evident from all the team. 5 stars

I visited Loose Ends a few times whilest on holiday in Shetland a couple of years ago and wish I could give them 10 stars instead of 5. The lady who served me was super friendly, and very patiently even shew me how to use a knitting belt. Explaining I was a bit overwhelmed as it was my first time away from home in a long time, she invited me to the shops knit night. This is a proper little treasure trove of a shop, with a great range of haberdasheries, and with excellent customer service and lovely staff.

Amazing place and very helpful owner that helped me with a lace shell pattern scarf that was doing my head in. Going to take this one back to New Zealand.
