I had 2 slow punctures so booked in to have them fixed. The car was booked in for 4pm but when I arrived after work at 5pm it hadn't been worked on yet and I waited there until 6pm. When the car was done I was told that the air pressure sensor in one tyre was "missing or had been taken off" I asked how much that would be to fix and was given a rough price and told "plus fitting" and that it would "depend on how the car behaved" how long it would take to fit. I set off home as the roads were snowy and icy and I was already running late. When I got home I decided to get a second opinion because I knew the sensor must have been in place and working when I dropped the car off. This was how I knew there was a slow puncture and I had watched the pressure on the dash while putting air in the tyre that very morning. I was told by another source that it can be broken by removing the tyre incorrectly so I went back to Town's End Garage and spoke to Ian. This quickly escalated into an argument with Ian denying that it was working or that an employee who I had seen working on my car even worked there. When I challenged what I was being told I was ordered to leave and threatened with the police. I am now in a position where my car needs a 150 part plus fitting because it was broken while at this garage. Honestly is clearly not a policy here. Service: Tires

We cannot recommend Ian and his team highly enough. Our Kia Optima PHEV broke down on our first day on holiday and we really thought that was our holiday ruined. But thanks to Ians perseverance and determination to discover and fix the problem (the exact opposite of our local garage who just cleared the codes) and his kindness in sorting us a replacement car when every car hire firm on the island was booked out, we were able to get on and enjoy our holiday. He had our car fixed within a week and we couldnt be more grateful. Great, professional service all round! Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance
