        We stayed in the apartments at Thirlestane Castle and had a blissful break, Beautiful, grand rooms, exquisitely decorated yet at the same time cosy and very relaxing.

        As a wedding photographer, I had the opportunity to work there a few times. Thirlestane Castle is one of my favorite castle wedding venues in the Scottish Borders. Beautiful interiors, the possibility of sleeping in the castle, a charming outdoor environment that gives a great opportunity for creating amazing couples portraits. It's a perfect wedding venue whether you're planning an elopement for two or a larger wedding.
