Just had the most relaxing break, meeting up with family at The Croft. Really comfortable cottage and we slept like logs. On St. Cuthberts Way so options for walking seem infinite, although the distractions of a sunny day in Melrose and Mothers Day at Abbotsford were quite substantial. We most liked the place but also the commitment to making the dwellings beautiful and sustainable: one member of the group spent a ridiculous amount of time looking up Douglas Firs and how theyre made into log cabins! Go. Its magic.
