Was sold a spare wheel a couple of months ago, to keep in my boot. I had a blowout and had to use it. Unfortunately, whilst driving home, this split and burst on me. I didnt even make it safely home. RAC said I should never have been sold it, as it was dangerous and unroadworthy . Had to be towed to a garage. Thankfully, I am there and not in hospital . I also had my MOT done there in April. The previous owner had an advisory on corroded rear coil springs. Its my first car as a new driver, and as Quick Fix is close, I put it in there. I was surprised when he said I had fully passed it. I mentioned that I was surprised, because of the advisory . And expected that Id have to have them replaced. I was met with a blank stare. He didnt know what I was talking about. I mentioned the advisory. He said that there was nothing wrong with my coil springs, and that it was probably the previous garage trying to make a fly buck. Me being a brand new naive driver, just accepted his excuse . And guess what? A few weeks later, whilst driving, my rear coil spring snapped . Thankfully I wasnt flying down the motorway. So I returned to Quick Fix, where I had 2 new coil springs fitted. I mentioned the mot again, and was palmed off with an excuse of, well the snapped coil spring is just something that can happen . So thats twice now, in the space of 7 months, that I have been put in a dangerous situation, because of Quick Fixs incompetences, and sale of an unroadworthy wheel . These failures could have cost me my life. I would definitely NOT recommend this company. I certainly wont be using them again Service: Tires
