        Booked no mention of restaurants and spa being closed My takeaway box still in room 4 days later Room not cleaned or bed made in the 4 days I was there Toilet cistern ran 24hrs a day Can imagine was a nice place in its day not so much now

        Rooms: If you enjoy sleeping on a concrete bed, bed of bricks, or having zero sleep (not in a good way!), then I can recommend this hotel. The room was clean, but very tired. The windows were thin and the bathroom was dated - basically from the 50s and with constant usage. Noteworthy details: Great hotel if you enjoy sleeping on a concrete bed - or a bed of nails! If pain is your thing, this place will suit you to a tee.

        Just returned from short break. What fabulous staff, they went out of their way to make our life easier. Sophie, our dog was made so welcome and she loved the fuss! The restaurant was temporarily closed but Jack made sure we ate our take out in comfort! Room was good, compact but v clean and all amenities you needed. Breakfast was great too. I look forward to returning and hope that all the refurbishment goes well for them!
