One thing to take note of when visiting the museum is that volunteers can take you inside the Skelmorlie aisle as they have keys to the cemetery. The cemetery itself is quite unique and when inside the Skelmorlie aisle there's a painted ceiling and sculptures worth seeing. The museum itself is a collection of Largs' history and also conducts research on the local area. Make sure though that if you plan to visit that you're free in the afternoon!
