Optimal Physio

Lynsey was very professional and really helped me with my sports injury. The treatment clinic at Largs Marina was great, plenty of free parking.

My main reason for attending Optimal Physio was to ascertain what damage I had caused to my knee, so that any exercises I did were not going to exacerbate the problem but would help to strengthen the muscles round the knee and help to stabilise it. The physio gave me a personal exercise programme and within 2-3 weeks of seeing her, I was able to resume my activities.

Hi, just want to share about how these guys that changed my life. The diagnosis, instruction and 'PhysioTools videos from May last year has been a real success. My mobility movement has improved so much that I have just joined Parkrun, never thought Id see the day I would be doing this at 64. Cheers.

Ross at Optimal Physio in Largs diagnosed my frozen shoulder due to a rotator cuff impairment. After exercises & physio with Ross and James, I now have almost full mobility in my shoulder. Professional and caring treatment from both young men. I highly recommend. Thank you!

I was suffering from osteoarthritis and damaged cartilage in my knees and was really struggling to walk and get up and down stairs. I was waiting for an NHS physio appointment, but the pain was getting to a point where, even with a conflict of conscience about going private, I was getting desperate. I took the decision give Optimal Physio in Largs a try as they had good reviews. I had my first session with Ross and James, who quickly assessed my injury and created a programme of low impact strength and stretching exercises for me to do. I followed this up by attending bi-weekly sessions with James, who actively developed my exercise plan to suit my work / life balance and to minimise any impact when I had busy days at work. James is a real star, who is very encouraging, supportive, and patient and after a couple of sessions, I was moving much easier, feeling more confident and more importantly I began to overcome my fear of doing more damage though exercise. I continued attending for another couple of months and the difference in my knees is night and day from the first day I entered Optimal. I have made good progress on my way back to fitness, thanks to James and Optimal and can whole heartedly recommend James and the Largs branch. I am so glad I chose Optimal who have really helped with my recovery.
