My son has had a couple of years of lessons with Colin during which time he has improved greatly and continues to love learning piano. He is extremely patient and recently in the lead up to my sons Grading Submission, Colin made himself available on a daily basis at no extra charge. His use of modern technology to engage with his students is far from old fashioned piano lessons and is most welcome! His students opinions matter in terms of what theyre learning and lessons are fun which is so refreshing. Thanks again for your patience and continued support especially over the last few months.

Colin has a unique approach with his students setting him aside from other teachers in my opinion. His willingness to think out of the box and push boundaries towards a more modern way of teaching can only be a good thing. He understands that the relentless pursuit of studying towards the next grade can be tedious in some cases resulting in a loss of the fun factor....learning an instrument should always be fun. To this end he strives to accomplish the desires and objectives of each and every student. I'd happily recommend his services to all those wishing to improve their piano playing, both novice and accomplished.

Having unsuccessfully tried to learn piano from a book, the benefit of having Colin as my tutor has been immeasurable. His feedback is always constructive and being able to send video/audio of my practice sessions has been great. The fortnightly zoom meets discussing technique, theory etc are all really interesting and engaging. I would highly recommend Colin to anyone looking to learn piano.
