Not just for eyes. Thanks guys. The staff at Opticare came to my rescue this afternoon on a non optical matter, but vital nonetheless. Having just obtained a replacement mobile phone for my 87 year old dad, I thought I'd transfer the SIM card from his old phone into the new one. However on switching the phone on it repeatedly asked for the SIM card to be inserted; much to my dismay. To make matters worse, I then found it impossible to remove the back cover from the phone. Having discovered that neither of the listed mobile phone shops were open, in desperation I enquuired at Opticare. Each of the staff tried different methods and eventually the cover was removed. To my shame and horror, I discovered that I had only inserted the SD card from the old phone. On returning to my mother's I was able to extract the SIM card and transfer it to the new phone. Now when I visit my dad tonight in IRH he will have his new toy to play with and be none the wiser as to follies of his incompetent technophobe son

After arriving in largs on holiday I called into Opticare after a nasty fall. The service was excellent. I had my glasses mended and eyes checked and tested. Thank you Karen , Greg and hannah for your help.

I would just like to say a huge thank you to Anne and the team in Largs.I went in this morning after having a nasty reaction to a mosquito bite on my eyebrow while on holiday .They saw me right away and checked my eye thoroughly and reassured me that i was fine i was advised to use some drops for allergies.Thank you for your help
