Very relaxed and well kept war memorial right next to sea. Beautiful scenery looking across five miles to millport.

Set on the sea front overlooking the River Clyde and the Isle of Cumbrae (or the Greater Cumbrae). It is well maintained. Seating nearby. Pleasant walking area for a stroll or doggie walking.

This monument is in tribute to the men of Largs who died in the two world wars. The monument is surmounted by a sculpture of a highland soldier wearing a Tam OShanter. Beside him are two kneeling figures, a sailor and a colonial soldier.
