Since being diagnosed with prostate cancer i have found Maggies a great help on my road to recovery. On arriving at Maggies your met with one of the friendly volunteers who then offers you the chance to speak to one of the members of staff. Your offered a coffee or tea and a chance to talk. I pop in when i finish my work and Im always made to feel welcome. I go to the prostate cancer group and have found this to be very rewarding . I for one dont know where Id be without Maggies support and advice

Unfortunately I have been diagnosed with terminal cancer and am currently going through treatment. It's not easy, nor is it easy for my family and friends, and as we all try to stay strong for eachother there comes a time when you have to talk. That's where Maggie's comes in, I can't describe in words how inspirational and helpful they have been, and I don't feel alone. I would urge anyone, even family touched by cancer to visit this marvellous place. They are just amazing people with one goal in life, and that's to help people like me and my family, and they certainly do that.
