Walker Group

We have bought a house from Walker in 2013 and were generally happy. Unfortunately, one of our wood-frame window started to rot in 2022. Upon contacting the window manufacturer, we were told their 30-years warranty requires receipts. We asked Walker who told up that they "do not hold up any record after 5 years as per GDPR". Either Walker is lying, or they are not professional enough to retain papertrail of their orders during warranty, something that is explicitely allowed under GDPR.

Overall we like our new home, however we was not at all impressed with the sales team! We were passed around a number of people who were emailing us. The first one had told us we could get extras then changed his mind when we were preparing to go ahead with them, to then be told a couple of months later that we could still get them just for an increased price (but not the main things we wanted) but should have been able to get them when we first asked. Seems to be no communication and overall bad customer service. Not impressed at all with staff.
