Amazing experience! Will has been really supportive in helping me choose the right double bass and then he set it up perfectly. What a difference! My double bass is a joy to play now and the sound is great! Will is such an experienced luthier that he knew instantly what I was looking for and the communication was great throughout the process. Highly recommended!

I leave this review as the proud owner of one of Wills basses: shes called Betty and I love her very much. Everything about this bass is unspeakably wonderful to me, the huge depth of her voice, which somehow remains crystal clear across her entire register, the facility with which she plays despite its rather generous sizeand of course her majestically classy looks. An instrument is a very personal thing of courseBetty strongly suggested I should be her person from the first note we played. However, what is not subjective is the unmistakable quality of Wills work. His passion, dedication and yes his love for Luthiery is evident, not only in Betty, but also in every square inch of his workshop up in the remote Scottish Highlands. And finally, if you like a genuinely true person, you will love and trust Will, like I do. 5 stars from me for sure!
