The Northern Point

Went there after walking dogs. As it is pet friendly dogs decided it was time for a rest. Greeted by staff and told us that dogs are welcome. Had coffee and cake. That is the best coffee I have tasted todate. Cake was fantastic and dogs got some cold foamed milk to drink. From the time we entered and had to leave (get home in time for dinner) nothing could be faulted. Parking: Public car park 2 min walk. Level with slight slope.

What a great place to eat, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, great food at a reasonable cost an absolute gem of a find after a long day travelling.

What a great evening! Could I give them 10 stars? The staff here is incredible we had two glass of white wine, fish and chips (the best weve eaten in Scotland these weeks) and then a perfect-looking tex mex fries. However, I realised only afterwards that I ordered the non-vegetarian option so I was left with no choice but have no dinner. The waitress, though, was so caring and arranged something vegetarian for me even though their kitchen had closed some minutes before. Anyway, a must in John OGroats! Contact them on Facebook or Instagram beforehand and reserve a table as there are not many available.

Terrible , said open on website , turned up for breakfast were made to feel very unwelcome (11am) and then turned away and told to come back later and they didnt want to do any more breakfasts
