Visited this place a few years ago and am leaving this long overdue review after looking at and appreciating the vase we have on our coffee table that we purchased from North Shore. We purchased the vase and two beautiful small bowls. The pottery made at North Shore is my favourite, the way Jenny makes it is inspiring and so very creative. If you love traditional 'English Home' aesthetics then this is not for you - but please do not punish this wonderful establishment because it does not agree with your taste. For me it's so incredibly refreshing to see and is a place where you can buy a truly unique gift for someone or a piece for your own home that reflects Scotland and its stunning landscape in a way it really deserves. I think the prices are very fair considering they are all handcrafted with such care and that many pieces go to waste after failing when fired in the kiln. These are pieces we will treasure and have with us forever.

This is definitely one to schedule in on your road trip or if you live nearby. Beautiful and varied collection of handmade ceramic creations which you fall in love with. They might be a considered purchase but you will be delighted each time you use your item - bowl, plate, charger, etc. Jenny actually mentored a younger artist from whom we bought plates from approximately 6 years and this came to light when we shared that Jenny's work reminded us of these plates. Same world - local industry - giving back - we are in this together.
