We had one night at this fantastic site on the way up to the Highlands. What a gem it is. 5 hard standing pitches, adults only. Stunning views. Lovely walks and some very friendly Shetland ponies. The owner was so friendly and helpful. Looking forward to coming back!

What a fabulous cl site. Safe, secure and quiet with wonderful views and stunning sunsets. Quirky toilet and shower in a converted horse box. The orchard was laden with apples when we were there and we were told to fill bags. The apples tasted delicious. The site is in an area with so much to do. The stunning coastal towns and beaches are easoly accessible and Dumfies House and beautiful gardens are only a 10 minute drive away and so worth a visit. The owners were really helpful and friendly too. We'll definitely be returning very soon.

Beautiful Adults Only CL and lovely, friendly owners. Generous pitches, with a fantastic layout that means you are not overlooking (or overlooked by) your neighbours. Immaculate grounds, and if you're lucky enough to visit (which we were) at the time of year when the Orchard is groaning with delicious Heritage varieties of apples, I recommend tasting a few Water, EHU and drainage on each pitch. Quirky little converted horsebox with a toilet and shower. Stunning views, the sunsets were incredible and very little light pollution so on a clear night the stars were a joy to behold. A few miles drive from endless beaches at Ayr. On lead dog walking is great either on or off site, which is fab for us but you might need to drive or take a longer walk to find the River Ayr if you want an off lead option. Dumfries House is definitely worth a visit, and if you fancy a day trip, a drive to Largs, catching the Ferry to Millport, is a must. Gutted to cut our week short due to the impending high winds/rain, but the 5 nights we enjoyed were spectacular. Highly recommend Orchard House and hope to return.

Stayed just one night on this lovely quiet adult only site. Lovely rural quiet setting, small site quirky, beautifully decorated shower and toilet in a converted horse box. Lovely outdoor log seating area round open fire facility. Pitch was level, with electric hook up, perhaps only 5 pitches. Communication with Cate was excellent, lovely friendly helpful host.
