Pricing and payment method could be clearer. The entry will accept coins or card and this gives you access to the toilets. We needed to use the shower, but it only accepts coins. I had coins so was able to pay, but my friend had used his card to enter only to find he had to pay for the shower with coins he didn't have. It's very frustrating and confusing to let people pay to enter with their card, and then expect them to spend coins! He had to go back to the car to get my spare coins, which meant paying another entry fee. The minimum payment is 3 1 coins which gets you 9 minutes. I only need 5 minutes to shower, so I feel like I wasted money as there were 4 minutes on the clock when I was finished. Why not let people pay 1 for 3 minutes, then they can pay for how long they actually need? This place seems designed to rob you by making you enter multiple times, and then charging you for more shower time than you need. The cost and payment method for the showers should be on the OUTSIDE before you pay to enter the facility. There appear to be three shower rooms here, but on the day we visited only one was working, the others were out of order, so we had to wait for eachother to shower. The shower was clean, and the water was more than warm enough although it wasn't hot. Overall this was a frustrating visit and simple improvements could have made it so much better.

There were 2 toilets in the men's room and a number of urinals. there were also 2 (open) gender neutral (?) showers. the showers had hot water (turn the handle all the way up for hot water). the price was 3 per 5 mins of shower, 50p to enter the facilities. both showers accepted 3x1 coins, while one of them had a contactless card reader. entering the facility also had contactless card reader. It had all I needed and were relatively clean. i don't mind paying this much for a shower and a toilet.

This review is for the laundry machines. Visited on 16-FEB-2023 - all machines were working (2 washer and 2 dryers). Cost for washer is 7 for Eco Wash, 7.5 for Normal wash, and 8 for Heavy wash. Cost for dryer is 3.5 for 40 minutes - the 40 minutes of drying was (the clothes were still damp). Washer dryer are stacked on top of one other. One set washer/dryer accepts card (contactless or chip) and the other set accepts coins. There is a big parking/car lot right in front of the facility. There are plenty of stores and restaurants in the immediate shopping area so you can browse or eat/drink while waiting for the laundry to be done. I had a really nice breakfast across the parking lot at Hector's Bothy.

Clean toilets but 3 for a 5 minute shower with no working hot water (despite signs saying hot water available) - very disappointing. Did take contactless payment which was handy!

Well tended. The turnstiles are touchy. Plan on 50 pence to enter the restroom. But they have showers and washing/laundry facilities. Very handy.
