We stayed at Pearsie cottage which is attached to the lodge. Beautiful cottage in a stunning location. Booking straight-forward and all queries answered promptly by email. Booking anywhere new with a disabled husband and a dog is pretty difficult but this cottage ticked just about all the boxes. Not technically advertised as disabled friendly it's pretty good. Ramp to front door and lots of space internally. My husband doesn't use a wheelchair inside but there's plenty of space for one. 2 issues we encountered from a disabled point of view. The shower cubicle even though quite spacious has quite a narrow entrance (we managed just) and the beds are extremely high (as a short person myself I struggled with this too) Other than that we had a lovely, chilled time and the dog loved the freedom to run around the fenced, grassy area. Even though the cottage is attached to the hunting lodge we were never bothered by any noise. Not far from Kirriemuir we enjoyed some good take-away food, the fab butchers and a visit to the Bon Scott statue.
