        This is a lovely, modern and well-kept flat in a beautiful location overlooking the fields and down into Kirkwall and the harbour. While it might be a little tight for two people, it was certainly plenty room for one, and had all of the amenities I could have hoped for, including a washer, dryer, and dishwasher, as well as a TV and DVD player with a selection of DVDs, and also several board games. The place was immaculately clean when I arrived, and the landlady had stocked the kitchen with all of the essentials: bread, milk, butter, coffee, tea, sugar, breakfast cereal, and a packet of locally made cookies. The price was very reasonable. I would definitely stay there again, and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting self-catering accommodation in Kirkwall, Orkney.
