        We called up Buchanhaven Holidays, last minute, due to having missed our ferry back to Scrabster from Stromness. The owner was amazing and truly sympathetic to our predicament. She managed to get the cottage ready for us by the time we drove back from Stromness to Kirkwall, and when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised at how well the accommodation was set up. There was everything there that we needed and the property was kept to a high level of cleanliness. The value for money that we received would be hard to beat anywhere. We would certainly look to stay there again if we return to Orkney. I couldn't recommend it more.
