Our stay here was lovely. Our room with a view of the beautiful garden made us forget how close to the centre of Kirkwall we where. The owner was extremely helpful, checking the bus timetables, opening times of tourist attractions and giving us a ride to and from the ferry, as we didn't have a car. We need to come back to Orkney and when we do, we'll try and stay here again.

Jane is a lovely hostess. There is a very homey, relaxed feel to the house. Our room overlooked the garden, which was beautiful! Breakfast was delicious. The B&B is located in Kirkwall, within walking distance to everything in town. It's also not far too drive to get to all the sights. There was some trouble with the WiFi connection, which isn't too big a deal when you're spending your day among the Neolithic sights! And the bathrooms, though "private" are not en suite.
