        Loved this hotel, the owners are very patient and friendly and the hotel is very clean and tidy. I'm a postgraduate student from London and I was very stressed but after some days in Orkney I feel much better and I think it helped more from the warmth and friendliness of the owners! I would highly recommend this hotel and I would like to stay here again if I am ever on holiday in the Orkney Islands!

        I stayed here for work in March 2023. I believe the place has had a recent change of hands, Fiona was wonderful when looking after me, rooms were clean, warm and comfortable, breakfasts were delicious and location is good for the airport and a walk into town. Being at the top end of Kirkwall and with low light pollution meant I got to see the northern lights from the garden - a life long ambition!
