Ian is a horrible man tries to bully people and does demands that arnt legal he has no legal experience and knows nothing makes stuff up as he goes along calls you a liar even when things are black and white in front of him Him and his company is a joke its more like a circus

Ian was incredibly helpful and supportive when I found out my car had been previously remapped and therefore didn't have a warranty. Ian replied quickly to all my emails and was there when needed. I would not hesitate to recommend Ian and Reject My Car to anyone in a similar position.

Reject My Car; Money comes before client. Reject My Car is run by an ex-car salesman, Ian Ferguson with no legal background or qualification. A one man band. He runs a No Win No Fee operation. I fully agree that you should be able to reject a car, in the correct circumstances, its your right. In 2014, long before Ferguson and Reject My Car thought they could make money out of it, I rejected a car of my own. It took two telephone calls and one email. IT COST ME NOTHING. I have a genuine ongoing dispute with a well known Detailing Company in Linlithgow (see separate review) over 23,000 damage they caused to my car while it was in their care. Nothing to do with anyone Rejecting a Car; but for some reason (money) and out of the blue, Ferguson, the Managing Director of REJECT got involved as, in his words an "Intermediary" (a person who acts as a link between people in order to try and bring about an agreement - a mediator). From the outset he was obstructive, difficult to deal with, manipulative, bullying and selective on how he responded to correspondence I sent to the Detailing Company through him. Through email, directed at the Detailing Company, Ferguson of REJECT refused to answer difficult or obvious questions and failed to even respond to certain email that he obviously found uncomfortable or unable to deal with. He tried to bully and supress my methods of communication and liked to try and quote legal jargon as often as possible despite having no legal background or qualification. He did not listen nor was he interested in my side of the story, only that of who was paying him. Ferguson supported the Detailing Company's underhand practices such as destroying crucial CCTV and their attempt to implicate others as being responsible for the damage. And rather than help bring people together and find a solution, he compounded the situation by his arrogance and reluctance to listen to, and face the truth from other people. At no time did he ever ask or was interested in my side of the story. A company clearly financially motivated with no care or consideration for other parties and all too quick to believe the people paying his bills, while dismissing everyone else. Intermediary; A person who acts as a link between people in order to try and bring about an agreement-a mediator. When describing Ferguson the Managing Director of REJECT, this description could not be further from the truth. Ferguson has tried to silence me by applying to have my review removed. He as failed. He now threatens me with further action? Think carefully before giving your money to REJECT as your right to reject your car (and the process for doing it) is completely free. If you are on the receiving end of Ferguson, the Managing Director of REJECT, don't be bullied, shouted down or intimidated by him as this is the only approach he knows. *****Be civilised.....don't be a REJECT***** July 2022; NRJ Customs the detailing company represented by Ferguson and Reject have gone out of business.

I assist consumers that are having issues dealing with Insurers, I act as an independent engineer inspecting vehicles , I often get request to assist people in rejecting a vehicle. Regretfully, it is not an area I get involved in as have more than enough work in my own field rather than venturing into this area. This is why I recommend people to Reject my Car, So far , I have had six clients all use Ian, and he has been fantastic. I have not been paid or have any fee arrangement with this company, and I would not recommend him if he did not do what his company name says. Look at my reviews, and you can see what people say about me, I would not want to tarnish my reputation with companies that do not hold to my ideology of taking down the big guys and fighting for consumer rights.
