The Willows

After booking this accommodation six months in advance for a wedding locally, the owner decided to cancel our booking with 24 hours notice due to the requirement to clean the property after a "covid infection". There are no legal requirements to do this any longer and this is 2022, not 2020... Caused a huge amount of stress and worry while we try to find anything nearby with short notice and had to pay significantly extra due to the last minute alternative accommodation booking. Not given any compensation (this cost us over 150 pounds as a result) and if we were to cancel with 24 hours notice, we would have lost all our money. Why doesn't the hotel have the same policy when they cancel on guests?

beautiful modern house!! rooms are immaculate, super comfy, with a superb bathroom. there is a lovely guest area between both rooms. breakfast was exellent [smoked salmon & scrambled egg is lovely] location is great & a short drive along the beauly firth from inverness. parking is safe & secure. sheila & willie are exceptional hosts & super helpfull. whole experience is 5* @ a 3* price.
