Rooms: The attention to detail and the clean, completely furnished and open-lit room exceeded expectations. Walkability: Flat terrain, easy to navigate. Food & drinks: The homemade breakfasts are something to write home about.

The house has its charm but is not suitable for the elderly and would not get a license in Germany due to fire regulations alone. The two boys try, but the good spirit that once hung here has crept away. Sanitary a technical challenge that needs to be worked on again. Das Haus hat seinen Charme, ist aber nicht fr den lteren Menschen geeignet und wrde in Deutschland allein wegen der Feuerbestimmungen keine Lizenz bekommen. Die zwei Jungs geben sich Mhe, aber der gute Geist, der einst hier wehte, hat sich fortgeschlichen. Sanitrmig eine technische Herausforderung, an der doch wieder mal gearbeitet werden msste. Sehr enge Zimmer, alles auch sehr liebevoll gemacht, aber preislich auch deutlich zu hoch.

My return to Gladstone House did not disapoint. Warm and friendly welcome from the fabulous hosts of the establishment. Rooms are warm and cosy, with a free breakfast after a comfortable sleep. Iv made the most of the never ending garden areas, nicely maintained with wonderful flowers, shrubs and plants...including an array of home grown fruit and veggies.. and plenty seating areas. ( weather was great all weekend) Local attractions are great : particularly The Art and Craft Fair. The perfect hidden gem..
