Myself and my husband wanted a genuine piece of artwork to remind us of our family holiday in Kirkcudbright and the places we had visited. I had seen Richards website and loved what I saw so we paid him a visit in person. We loved what we saw and true to other reviews Richard was at his easel when we visited. He was welcoming friendly and chatty an do interested in how we had experienced to the area on our hol. Safe to say we found out perfect holiday souvenir here - one if Richards original paintings as well as three small prints if his original artwork from Dhoon bay and Broughton house which we loved. We love genuine art and feel that Richard offers exceptional pieces of quality that we found nd affordable and we now have a lovely piece that reminds us of our beautiful holiday in Kirkcudbright. Thank you Richard. We will be keeping an eye in your website for updated pieces. Mr and Mrs Williams, Bolton, Lancashire England

You will find artist Richard Brinley at his easel when you visit his studio/gallery near the Tolbooth in Kirkcudbright. Wonderful sea and landscapes will make a fabulous memoir of your holiday in Kirkcudbright.

Saw the owner (?) painting in here so I decided to nip in and have a wee browse. Ended up chatting to the person about his paintings and getting to know more about his work. Friendliness and openness like this made it such a great experience and it was really nice to be able to see finished works as well as pieces that were work in progress and literally see the artist himself at work!
