What a place! I've been coming here for a while, mostly to support the community by getting lunches for my self and others every time, and I take our meals away but something felt wrong this whole time. Last week when I showed up just after they had opened I was told to come back at 1pm from now on if I'm to be taking the food away, which just felt so unfair. By taking my food away I save them time, space which they could use to accommodate more of our community, and when I showed up today at 12.45 I was told to get some sandwiches because there was not enough hot food to last, even tho by the quick eye I think anyone could've said the same, there was plenty of food still. I want better for my community and management needs to be introduced to places like this as this is out of control. A little about the food now, out of personal experience as I do love being in the kitchen, this community kitchen is experimental, half of the time the products are made out of substances that simply don't fit together, last week (maybe 2 weeks ago) I was ment to get a pear custard pie with cream, but I had over a finger of water in my paper cup for a desert, some pieces of tinned pear and now this, egg, milk and sugar mixed together into a bake is what they call custard pie with cream? I used to eat this in my nursery! Without the water n pear but it is delicious if you know what you are doing. The meals are quite tasteless mostly. And lastly, I don't feel welcomed.

Very welcoming. Excellent food on Wednesdays and happy people to talk to. Run by volunteers including Tony and Rosemary. Very quiet today. Food still superb!
