Maggie's Fife

Their support ,chats and cups of tea were absolutely great my wife Linda had been diagnosed with a terminal cancer 18 months ago, Maggies was new to linda and I one day we were walking past the big black building near the front entrance to the Victoria hospital and a nice lady came out to the path and asked if we would like a cuppa we went in and were made very welcome so much so we popped in lots of times and the assistance they gave me with the form filling for grants etc saved me a lot of mental anguish, we even had a sing along session one day which I really enjoyed . I will also be visiting them In the future once covids gone for a cheeky wee cuppa and chat . Dont just wonder what they do knock on the door and you will be more than welcome Im pleased we did

Maggies was a great help when my husband was given taxi months to live. He was able to relied the emotional feelings he had for the first time and start to come to terms with his diagnosis. This in turn allowed me to process what was happening. Everyone we met at Maggies were amazing knowledgeable and very helpful. They provided everything we needed from a chat to writing a will which was fantastic and at just 52 something my husband hadnt even thought about. I couldnt rate any higher that 5 but would give 10/10 for the kindness and services they provide. Thank you all Wendy Harris Dowds
