My Islay Wedding

From the first moment we connected with Ben he gave us first class excellent service. We decided to elope to the beautiful island of Islay where we had never visited, nor did we know anyone there. Ben became so much more than our mere photographer, he was our very own wedding planner. Always on hand on the phone, email or text to answer any of my many, many questions and queries. Through his suggestions I found my make up artist, hairdresser and florist all of whom made the day as perfect as we had envisioned, even helped us with photos at my husbands favourite distillery. On the day of our wedding he saw to everything, including jobs I'm sure he had not quoted for !! We couldn't have asked for more. Finally the pictures, we wanted to capture the wild beauty of the island and he did that and more. We're forever grateful Ben, hope to catch you at feis ile one year !

Amazing photo shoot by Ben. 2 years in the planning due to Covid and we finally got to Islay and had the best Saligo Bay sunset for our shoot. Ben is very professional and will ask plenty of questions in the lead up to the shoot so he knows what you do and don't like. We had such a laugh during our shoot and the photos are amazing. Highly recommended indeed 5*

Cant recommend Ben at My Islay Wedding enough for our absolutely amazing wedding pictures!! Ben managed to capture our day so perfectly it feels like we can re-live it forever. Thank you so much for making us both feel so relaxed so we could just be ourselves which makes our pictures simply perfect! Weve had so many compliments of the pictures weve shared online that we just have no idea how we are going to pick for our album! We could not be happier with our wedding photos that Ben took. Looking through them, we didn't even know he had taken half the shots he had. He has captured the day perfectly, in a really natural way and we have some really special shots because of that. He also paid special attention to the most important four legged attendee at our wedding and for that we couldn't be more thankful! For two people who very much dislike their picture being taken, he made it so enjoyable. Ben created a relaxed and easy going atmosphere which made for a fun shoot and a collection of memories to last a lifetime!
