My car had two flat tyres whilst driving on Jura. No garage on Jura.Stuart met me at Port Askaig and took me to the garage on Islay.. Garage shut up. Stuart phoned the owner and arranged for a mechanic to return and change the tyres. Stuart then took me back to Port Askaig. First class service.

Hands down the best Taxi Service experience we've ever had! Stuart did a great job coordinating our trip and dealing with last minute changes, and our drivers Duncan and David were polished professionals. We especially enjoyed our conversations with David as he drove us around the island visiting different sites and distilleries. We would highly recommend booking with Islay Taxi if you are planning to visit Islay.

We hired Islay Taxis for 2 days to tour us around the island for sight-seeing and whisky tasting. They were magnificent! After asking what we were interested in seeing Stuart set up an itinerary that included tastings, tours and lunches. Our driver David was a wonderful guide, giving historical information and answering our many questions over the two days he was with us. David was also great about working extra stops into the schedule and helping us keep track of everything. The distilleries are a huge draw for Islay but David took us to spots on the island that truly showed the extraordinary natural beauty there. Islay Taxis really helped us see the very best of everything in Islay!
