        Rooms: All the rooms were bright and very well equipped with quality items. All the toiletries are locally produced. Bedding towels and furnishing were all very comfy. There were so many extra items in the house that added to my experience including a lovely welcome pack a good selection of books and games plus two telescopes to enjoy the super views and get a closer look at the wildlife.

        Wonderful place to stay on the friendly Isle of Islay. Ellister Lodge is a very spacious and extremely comfortable 4 bedroom bungalow with beautiful rural views. We loved the many bookcases with their wide selection of subjects. We had a wheelchair user and the access into and within the property for her was excellent. When we come back to Islay again this will undoubtedly be where we stay. Highly recommended

        We didn't stay here, but our car did break down right outside. The owner (whose name I didn't catch - apologies!) was an absolute godsend, and offered help, tools, and a ramp to allow us to get to the underside of the car and patch things up just enough for us to get back to the mainland. Thank you again!
