Perfect mini house for a peaceful getaway, only a short walk from Port Ellen. There are beautiful views from the pod, which is situated just up the hill from the famous singing sands beach. From Port Ellen, there is a well signposted coastal walk to the three distilleries: Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg. Our host, Lillias, went above and beyond with no ending offers of food, drink, storage of wet boots/coats and masses of knowledge about how to make the most of our time on the Island.
