In a farmers field (be sure to close the gate!), nice views. You can see how the stones line up with the mountains

A stunning alignment of 3 standing stones and burial cairn, aligns to the setting suns of the summer and midwinter solstice. Magical views across to Jura where on midsummer eve the sun sets over the Paps. Further proof of the cosmic connection our ancestors had with this glorious planet. The best Neolithic alignment in the area. Originally surveyed by Alexander Thom who was born near by in Carradale, who was a direct descendant if Robert Louis Stevenson. Further up the glen are remains of cottages cleared in the highland clearances and further up still are the remains of a settlement, possibly Neolithic or bronzeage. Well worth a visit. Sheep are farmed up this glen, keep your dog on a lead :)
