Very poor ferry service provided to the island because they are incapable of acquiring a spare boat. Every major technical fault, of which there are many, results in a disruption to the service to multiple islands. As a foot passenger at the pier you get fenced in and bossed around like a farm animal. The place is covered in unnecessary spying CCTV cameras, waste of money place never sees any real crime. Generally spoils the laid back and free feel that makes the rest of the island so special. About time money was directed where its needed, more boats. Instead of to employ a clipboard warrior to come up with another thing to waste money on at the pier. The latest is to stick a yellow reflector on every single fence or lamppost.

Warm, clean waiting room and friendly staff. Made waiting for the ferry on a damp evening much more pleasant than it would otherwise have been!
