Liz is the best host you could hope to find, after a difficult and muddy walk on the Kintyre Way - right to her door. She is retiring soon, which is a shame for foot weary walkers like us, but lovely for her and her family of course. Friend and I stayed two nights, and couldnt have been happier with the comfortable beds, hot baths, superb meals, generous whisky each evening and just general kindness from Liz, who couldnt have done more for us.

My husband and I stayed with Elizabeth and John in early June. What a wonderful couple - fantastic house - delicious food and entertaining company. We could not have asked for better and will definitely recommend others. We met people who had stayed at Dunultach multiple times over many years -- chatted with them and even hiked. The Ball's create an atmosphere of friendship and hospitality. They even had suggestions on places to visit (though we missed the summer solstice sun setting over Jura - we were able to chat with others from the area, which is always a treat). If you need a place to stay, for convenience, cost and hospitality, you can't go wrong with Dunultach.
