My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Heathery Brae on our trip to Islay. The location just outside Port Ellen is perfectly located for exploring Islay and easy access to the ferry. The room we had was HUGE with a fantastic view overlooking the lighthouse at Oa and the Singing Sands beach - easy walk to both. Fiona and Bill are kind and generous hosts serving up a proper full Scottish Breakfast with other items also available. Looking forward to returning in the future

We had a great time here (2Nights)! Fiona & Bill are very friendly and good-hearted! We felt very comfortable and its really quiet up there, we loved it. The room was very very nice with a great lovely view of the harbour and the seaside. You can walk to port ellen about half an our across the beach and the forest! Nice Walk! And on the right side of the house there's a lovely quiet beach called singing sands. Very beautiful, reached by foot maybe in 15min. The Breakfast was really good! Hope to come back again one time.
