A wonderful experience that we did not expect. One rarely encounters such lovable hosts. We would love to come back because you feel comfortable here. Nearby activities: We visited Caol Ila and Bunnhabhain, both of which are wonderfully walkable.

Just come back from a wonderful long weekend on Islay (our first visit) and so pleased we chose to stay at Persabus in the B&B suite. Rosemary and Donald are lovely owners and were extremely helpful with suggestions on places to eat which was particularly helpful with us staying off season! Location perfect for walking to Ardnahoe and Bunnahabhain distilleries. Absolutely delicious bacon (and tattie scone!) rolls and coffee every morning. Very comfy bed. I cant fault it. Will be our base for inevitable future visits. Thank you so much.

we stayed at Persabus in one of the cottages during one of the brief respites from lockdowns in 2020 and despite the COVID controls in place the house was well equipped and Rosemary and Donald couldn't have been more welcoming under the circumstances. persabus is a great location to explore Islay from and staggerintg distance from all of the North East shore distilleries
