Im a good location with trains to Inverness Aberdeen and Montrose direct but I do think that the station is a bit too far north of the town and could be a bit of a pain to walk

It takes twenty minutes on the train from Aberdeen to Kintore and it is less than two hours from Inverness. It is great this railway station re - opened to the public back in October 2020. There is plenty parking and you can buy or collect tickets for onward journeys. It takes about ten minutes to walk into Kintore from the station and the trains are pretty frequent.
