        A brilliant night recently by my favourite blues band. Climax Blues Band on top form. They have been gigging since 1968 and George on keyboards has been with them since 1981. The rest of the band have been playing together for at least the last 10 years. New guitarist only their third is well up with his predecessors. Great solos from all the band especially Neil's virtuoso bass solo. New album out soon

        Backstage at The Green Hotel is a great venue run by Mundell Music. Always a good range of bands and reasonable prices. Have a look at the web site, there is a good chance there will be someone you like or go and see someone you have never heard of, you may get a pleasant surprise.
