was reccomended this place by occupational therapists at queen margaret hospital. was told this place , would stimulate my mums mind by doing activities. mum was there for at least 6 weeks, she done a jigsaw and played connect 4 one day and they done a quiz on st.andrews day. that was it. in the time she was there she got a shower 3or 4 times and had to wash herself at sink in bedroom, whilst another resident had a shower everyday. the cleanliness in the bedrooms were non existent til a staff member went down with covid 19. lots more i could complain about but wont. mina lodge get your act together this used to be a great care home but certainly not anymore, btw most of the staff were great with mum. essentially overworked and understaffed

I have worked for the Company for over 5 years now and I have enjoyed my time working across multiple homes. I took up my post as Care Manager at the tail end of 2019, the home is small and homely with lovely gardens that the residents thoroughly enjoy making the most of on a sunny day. The Staff have a brilliant relationship with both the residents and their families, we are involved in the wider community with links to the local nursery and other organisations!! Mina Lodge is a team Im proud to be at the helm of and look forward to seeing what we can achieve as we move forward.

hi visited care home today 13th dec to see my wife everything seamed fine untill i looked at her care plan seams you have to watch what you say to your relative when carers are near because they write reports about what you say taking things out of content in my wifes care plan i am heared say that i want to divorce her and she has no money my wife and i have a dark sence of humour i now watch what i say when i visit my wife from now on this care home is not a home from home JUST WATCH WHAT YOU SAY
